Dear Parents and Carers,

This week I received a letter from a local resident. They praised the behaviour of pupils walking through Wootton, and how respectful they were of his property. It is lovely when people take the time to record those positives. All of us enjoy recognition and praise, and I draw your attention to our new App for Classcharts. This is our new way of communicating with you about what your child is doing well, and any concerns about their behaviour or attitude for learning.

Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to say an enormous thank you to all the support that you and your children have shown regarding the wearing of face coverings. On Monday morning almost every pupil who should be wearing one had a covering on. We have worked this week on remembering to always put the face covering on between one lesson and the next.

Dear Parents and Carers

I do hope you are all well. We have been working hard to prepare for our annual open evening. Of course, this year we have had to deliver this remotely. Staff and pupils have participated really enthusiastically and it is really worth visiting our website to see some really engaging film clips and other resources.

Coronavirus We continue to monitor and follow national guidance from government and Public Health England’s advice on Coronavirus and getting ready to implement changes as the ‘delay’ phase unfolds. At the moment there is no suggestion that UK schools should close. At a school and college level, the most important thing our pupils, students and staff can do is personal hygiene with frequent washing of hands.
